Tony Smith delivered a presentation at the Security and Policing Exhibition in Farnborough today (13 March 2013)

This was an opportunity for visitors from around the world to come and listen to the leaders in the UK who helped to deliver a safe, secure and inspirational Olympic Games in London last year.

Tony formed part of a panel led by Baroness Pauline Neville- Jones, former Security Minister, and he was joined by two Assistant Commissioners from the Metropolitan police (Chris Allison and Cressida Dick) together with Robert Raine, who directed the Home Office Olympic Security Programme.

Tony discussed the challenges he faced in securing the border and delivering the accreditation solution for London 2012.
